Another view of the new Marshfield Station, dedicated in 1994 on the 125th Anniversary of the Cog.
A view of the carshop where the coaches are built and maintained. The crew works here year 'round to maintain the fleet of coaches.
A view of the engine shop and transfer table. This is a fully equipped shop that includes a machine shop and all the necessary equipment to maintain a fleet of 7 steam engines.
Waumbek tank and switch is the first stop on the trip up the mountain. Here the engine takes on enough water for the rest of the trip. It is the location of the 2nd switch. It is one of my favorite spots on the trip/
Waumbek switch. One of three switches on the railway said to be the most complicated switches in the world. 9 separate moves have to made to accomplish switching.
Gulf tank. This tank is no longer standing due to the larger capacities of the tenders.
